Becker’s add to the trophy cabinet

We’re starting to count the races that the Becker’s do NOT attend – and collect trophies from. John and Matt had another great showing at the Hovie NAC 9.5 miler yesterday in Newport Beach.
Matt took 3rd in 12′6” stock, and John claimed 1st in the 14′ class. We heard that the two stuck around long after crossing the finish line to let others demo their customs. Keep it up, guys!

Terrell & Beckers do it again.

John & Matt Becker, along with Jimmy Terrell, continued their dominance at this year’s Catalina Ocean Challenge, claiming another 1st in the 40 mile event.

John sent in these photos and field note:

“Joe, thanks again for all the support from you and the BARK boys. We wouldn’t be winning without a BARK under our feet. Jimmy, Matt and I took 1st in 14′ class, and 4th overall behind 3 great unlimited teams. Our time was 6 hours 50 minutes,
All the best, John.”

Matt Becker off to an early lead on the carbon fourteen.

Jimmy takes a shift in the 40 mile course.

Jodie Paddles with Purpose

Our good friend Jodie Nelson became the first woman to paddle 39.8 grueling miles from Catalina to Dana Point last weekend. She finished in just over 9 hours, all in an effort to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research and prevention. Jodie’s goal is to raise $100,000, and so far she has reached about $8,000. To donate, and read more, go HERE.

A warm welcome in Dana Point.
